Civil Ceremonies

Dorton House was awarded its marriage license in 2002, but couples have been getting married within the grounds at the tranquil St John the Baptist church since the 15th century, so marriage is part of the great history of Dorton. In present times, the Civil Marriage for up to 120 guests can be held in any one of our elegant rooms, each of which has its own distinctive character and thus enabling wedding parties to combine both the Ceremony and Wedding reception in one beautiful location.
